Digital tools are great for online surveys but SMS surveys are ideal for the target groups you are missing in digital. Consider marketing materials such as door hangers, fliers and posters, banners, and cards to distribute information about your survey. Here are some examples from our clients:
In our final step, we focus on the activities we want to do in order to engage our target group and key metrics to make this a successful, equitable, and accessible engagement plan. Generally, if our team at co:census is providing services we will develop a public engagement plan that includes a cultural competence strategy, a language access plan, and a timeline of activities we will lead. If we are only collaborating with our digital tools, we will support with survey design, translations and a brief report.
